Apparently, there are questions being asked about political endorsements. As nobody was interested in forming the political action committee (PAC) for 2023, we won't be making any endorsements for candidates or propositions in either the primary or general elections. 

On Jan 4th I posted an article reminding folks that the PAC was open for enrollment.  I waited until Feb 16th until posting another article advising that nobody had expressed interest, so we wouldn't have a PAC for 2023.

Here is the by-law:

PAC SECTION II

PAC OPEN TO ALL GUILD MEMBERS

The PAC shall be open to all interested GUILD members in good standing. Enrollment shall, be open during the month of January of each year. There will be a minimum of four (4) members and no maximum number of members. There shall be no limitation on the length of membership in the PAC. All members of the committee shall have an equal vote in matters of the committee. No GUILD member is to be restricted from expressing his/her political views, however only the PAC, is authorized to express views on behalf of the GUILD.
