The Deputy Sheriff's Guild was established in 1996, following a vote to self-represent during labor negotiations. Entirely independent, we are not subject to the control or influence of persons outside our organization. We represent the law enforcement deputies and sergeants of the Whatcom Co Sheriff's Office (corrections deputies are represented by Teamsters). Our primary role is to protect the working conditions, benefits, training and equipment of our members; however, we also donate time and money to help both our members and the great citizens of Whatcom County.
